The Queen of a kingdom alongside William's father. She is a minor character and wasn't given a name.

Appearance[]

She is a woman with long, ash blonde hair to her shoulders, fair skin, and light blue eyes. She usually wears a turquoise dress with a cerulean cape and a golden crown with thirteen spikes and with turquoise velvet cap.

Later, she is seen with the same crown and had different upper-class turquoise dresses and dark greenish blue boots.

After the time skip, her appearance has slightly changed. Her hair is now cut short and her face shows a few lines around the eyes. She usually wears a black dress with black earrings to match.

Personality[]

Her personality is very motherly and caring, being mad when William blamed Monica for breaking a vase. However, she doesn't have a lot of patience and is shown to have a short temper. During the wedding of Monica and William, she had a 'bored' expression as a witch called it. She is shown to dislike her husband, because after he died when Aisha and Amir's mother exclaimed he was finally dead, she exclaimed, "I know right?!" with a happy face. She was shown to be against witches, as when William wanted to help them, she called them 'scruffy."

History[]

She married William’s father at a young age (though it isn’t stated how young) and supposedly had William at a young age as well.

The two kingdoms that Monica’s father and Williams father owned then forged an alliance and a trust to not kill the witches or burn them at the stake. During that time, it was during when Angela Wytte was pregnant with the twins so it was roughly sixteen years in the past. During the flashback in episode 75, she is seen sitting next to William's father, with a irritated face, and a drop of sweat on her face.

It was implied that she and Amir and Aisha’s mother had romantic interests with each other but never pursued each other due to marrying different men.

Relationships[]

Main characters[]

  • Monica: Like her father, William‘s mother most likely treated Monica with respect since she was marrying her child.

Supporting characters[]

  • Aisha and Amir's mother: The two seem to share romantic interest in each other, presumably before William’s mother got engaged to her husband. It is suggested that they’re also close friends and have known each other for a long time.
  • William: Being William’s mother, She cares for William a lot. She is a much more supportive parent than his father and did not enjoy it when he blamed Monica for breaking a vase.
  • Monica's father: She and Monica‘s father presumably trusted each other due to a shared alliance the two kingdoms had. She supported the family and most likely shared the same views as him about witches needing to be treated as equals to humans.
  • William's father: She most likely married him because he chose her to be his wife out of the women in his kingdom as she said she married him at a very young age. Despite the two marrying and having a child together, the relationship seemed estranged, with William’s mother even being resentful that he died an easy death whilst the witches he helped burn didn’t.

Trivia[]

  • Like her son, William’s mother is speculated to be part of the LGBTQ community, being interested in another woman.
