Dorian's wand is a reoccurring object in the Hooky series.
Design[]
Precursor[]
In early episodes of the series, Dorian used a standard short, wooden wand. It may have been a Wytte family heirloom, and thus very old.
First Wand[]
Dorian's original wand was a short, pink plastic wand, with a flat five-pointed star design in the middle. The star had a star-shaped cut-out in the center of it. It has a very childish design.
Second Wand[]
Dorian's second wand is similar to his first wand, with a few exceptions. It appears to be slightly longer than before, and the star on top is solid and three-dimensional, with 5 facets on each side.
History[]
The wand was initially owned by Pendragon, and it is not known when or how he acquired this wand. He lent it to Dorian after he lost his original wooden wand at the end of Episode 19, while running from the Witch's House and trying to save Dani from being burnt at the stake. Dorian is first seen using it in Episode 27, when casting a spell to turn water into ice. He is initially reluctant to use the wand due to how childish it looks. He grows to love his wand, to the point where he refuses to use any other wand besides it.
Dorian receives his second wand in Episode 199, when Damien went out to find wands to use to rebuild Pendragon's House. He chose the wand from the handful Damien has. The first spell he presumably casts with it was the spells used to rebuild the house.
In Episode 218, during the ceremonies where Dani abdicates as Queen, Dorian is seen with an alternate version of his wand where it is a staff. It is largely the same, though larger and more detailed. Dorian is seen with his second wand in its original state in the episodes following this, so it's not known if this was an entirely new staff used for formal ceremonies, or a modified version of his wand which he changed afterward.
